In the late Ming Dynasty, Liu Baobao, a renowned silversmith in Deyang County, Sichuan, founded the "Zi Pei Hao" gold and silver workshop. The gold and silver craftsmanship passed down by the Liu family moved to Sichuan. In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, during the wars in central Sichuan, the Liu family moved to Pingyao, Shanxi. With their superb craftsmanship, the "Zi Pei Hao" became famous in central Shanxi. During the large-scale immigration movement during the Kangxi period, a branch of the Liu family returned to their hometown in Deyang, Sichuan, following ancestral instructions.

Sichuan Zipeiji Cultural Art Co., Ltd. has registered the "Zipeiji" trademark and the "Zipeiji Craftsman" trademark, and has successfully established the "Zipeiji Master Workshop", which is hosted by Liu Qibo, a master of arts and crafts, and gathers national intangible cultural inheritors and expert level craftsmen. Among them, there are 2 masters of arts and crafts, 3 inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, and a team of over 80 craftsmen.
