Huaying City Cultural Center was established in 1979 and is a fully funded public institution. It currently has a staff of 12, 10 on staff, 8 on the job, and 2 cultural workers under the "Three District Plan". The personnel configuration is complete, and the educational attainment rate is 100%. We have 26 cultural volunteer service teams and over 500 cultural volunteers.

Under the specific historical conditions of the long agricultural culture, the use of sliding poles as a means of transportation was widespread, especially during the prevalence of Huaying Mountain temple fairs. It was popular for high-ranking officials and young ladies to use sliding poles to burn incense and worship Buddha on the mountain. In order to select capable lifting men, they funded the holding of a sliding pole lifting competition for young girls, which gradually included elements such as competition, performance, display, and appreciation. It originated in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Qing Dynasty, with a history of over a thousand years.
