Sichuan Laotanzi Food Co., Ltd. was founded by inheritor He Yanping in 2010, and currently covers an area of 130 acres with nearly 520 employees. The company has passed the certifications of IS09001, IS022000, and HACCP quality management system, and has been awarded honors such as provincial-level key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, provincial-level enterprise technology center, outstanding private enterprise in Dongpo District of Meishan City, key tax paying advanced enterprise in China Paocai City, and Meishan Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop.

The "Laotanzi Pickle Making Technique" originated in 1902 and has been passed down through four generations of the family for 121 years. In 2018, it was included in the list of intangible cultural heritage protection in Sichuan Province. In 2019, it was rated as the experience base for intangible cultural heritage projects in Sichuan Province. In 2020, it was rated as the Meishan City primary and secondary school student research and practical education base. In 2021, the fourth generation inheritor He Yanping was rated as a representative inheritor of provincial intangible cultural heritage. In 2023, it was awarded the title of Meishan Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop.
